Website privacy notice.
This notice explains how InfoSpatial collects and uses personal information through this website.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
InfoSpatial Ltd is the controller responsible for personal information collected through this website. Our registered office is 3 Hopkin Way, Pocklington, York, England, YO42 1AN. You can contact us at contact@infospatial.co.uk.
Information we collect
If you contact us, we may collect your name, organisation, email address and the information included in your enquiry. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Our website provider may also process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, referring page and request time, to deliver and protect its services.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry information to understand and respond to requests, discuss potential services and maintain appropriate business correspondence. Our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in operating and developing the business, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and complying with legal obligations where relevant.
We do not use contact-form details for unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.
Service providers and international transfers
Netlify provides website hosting and processes contact-form submissions on our behalf. It transmits and stores the information you provide so we can receive and respond to your enquiry. Our business email provider may also process the information needed to deliver and retain correspondence.
Cloudflare provides privacy-focused website analytics. It receives the limited technical measurements needed to produce aggregate usage and performance information. Cloudflare explains the service in its Web Analytics documentation.
Netlify states that personal information may be collected, transferred and stored outside the country where it was collected. It describes its international transfer safeguards in its privacy statement.
How long information is retained
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to manage correspondence, potential work, contractual matters and legal or accounting requirements. The period depends on whether an enquiry develops into a business relationship and whether records must be kept to establish or defend legal claims.
Cookies and external resources
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page use and website performance. Cloudflare states that the service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. It does not use analytics or marketing cookies. The website also loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means a visitor’s browser makes a request to Google when displaying a page.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use and receive a portable copy. You can also withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis, although the current contact form does not rely on consent to process an enquiry.
Your right to object: You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. We will consider the circumstances and stop the relevant processing unless there is a strong lawful reason to continue or the information is needed for a legal claim.
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email contact@infospatial.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, service providers or our information-handling practices change. The date above shows when it was last reviewed.
